Lose.

It’s finally Friday, yet it’s cold and dreary
Starry night, sounds so eerie
At the party, drinks are poured in your cup
As you drink away your sorrows ..up and up
You let your worries float away
12:00 A.M., it’s already a new day.
It’s time to leave
I gotta go home
Why are they making me stay?
This isn’t a game that I wanna play!
Everything is fine, I’m okay
So give me the keys, I really can’t stay!
Come with us, we’ll drive you home
You’ll make it safely and then we’ll leave you alone.
I’ve got work tomorrow, gotta get up early
Give me the keys, I’m not drunk so don’t worry.
They look at you worried, scared
As you grab the keys from your friend’s hand.
You speed off, drunk as ever
And then it happens, everything changes forever.
Your life ends as soon as the car crashes
Before your eyes, your whole life flashes.
Your friends’ and family’s worst fear came true
It all happened the day they lost you
…leaving everybody in tears
Killing the days that could have been over the years.
Don’t drink and drive
Don’t throw your life away
There’s so many people
That Lose.
