I have run out of words to speak
I have run out of words to write
Nothing more can be expressed with a tongue so tired
A heart so broken
And a spirit so drained
Here on this plane I remain
Whilst you maintain your spot on my pedestal
You are the object of my affection
The focus of my dreams
In these dreams you love me
But as soon as I awaken
This cloud continues to rain down on me
Maybe this is God just telling me
That I don’t deserve you
And that you will always be behind the glass
I try to convey my feelings to you
And as I open my mouth, my tongue dries
I have no words for it
No words for this love that continues to burn inside me
This love that is slowly killing off my reality
I try once more to speak
But my lips remain sealed
As you reside behind deaf walls
