ISOLATED THOUGHTS

Isolated thoughts that have no place to go haunt my mind,
No one to talk to and to listen to them so they stay inside.
Paper and pencil are my sanctuary and thoughts flow freely,
Writing is the only way I can say what goes on around me.
Releasing emotion through music, writing, and graffiti has always worked for me,
Can’t always trust everyone so seclusion was my only option.
Only one person there to understand who I really am,
Sometimes that’s not even me.
