Unit Goals
Activities
 
This unit will examine the theme of evil in Frankenstein. Students will take ownership of the instruction of this unit by creating their own materials to teach the novel to each other. Students will use Bloom's Taxonomy and a list of literary terms to instruct their peers. Students will create journal questions and a quiz to facilitate their teaching of the book. The final product of this unit will be a critical analysis essay. Instructions for Peer Teaching Project

I shall die, and what I now feel be no longer felt. Soon these burning miseries will be extinct. I shall ascend my funeral pile triumphantly and exult in the agony of the torturing flames.
