| Romeo and Juliet Study Guide | What is True Love?
Character Panel DiscussionStudents will brainstorm a list of questions they would like to ask Romeo, Juliet, Friar Laurence, and the Nurse. These questions will be copied and distributed to the class. The class will be divided into groups, and each group will be given a character to prepare and will choose a person from their group to represent them on the panel. The whole class will ask questions of the panelists. Groups will be graded according to the preparation their representative demonstrated. Journal Who is Most Responsible for Romeo and Juliet's Suicides? Students will write an analysis essay in which they argue who is most responsible for Romeo and Juliet's Deaths. Students will use evidence from the text to support their thesis statement. |
